Website Upgrade, Sponsorship & Event Management for Denton St. Lawrence Cricket Club

Denton St. Lawrence Cricket Club is one of the top semi-professional cricket clubs in the Greater Manchester area. However, until recently their website was not of a similar calibre. Due to the lack of web-development personnel at the club, the website had fallen into semi-disuse and, as of mid-2024, had not been updated for several years. This meant that aside from the content being massively out of date, it was also in desperate need of updates to the CMS and plugins to make it compliant with the latest web standards and security protocols. 

We were contracted to perform these updates and get the website up and running again as the point of reference for club news, fixtures, events and function room rental.

Within a few days we had fully restored the site to it's original condition, along with some additional enhancements to make it more user friendly and informative. 

Following this, we were also asked to manage the club's ongoing sponsorship and event advertising activities, including the promotion and online ticket sales of their annual Bonfire Night Party, an event which attracts thousands of locals every year.
